Wheel hub identification

I need to identify this wheel hub, hopefully there is enough information here as it's not readily accessible to get further details

Not sure that the late production Lanc had a different wheel from earlier versions, but it could possibly be a Lincoln or Shackleton main wheel hub, less the brake cover.
Not totally sure, but I think Linc and Shack had the same main wheels.
Pic below shows main wheel on the RAFM, Cosford Lincoln.

Late production Lancaster's had this type of wheel hub . You can see them on Grandslam Lancs and Mkvii (7) Lancs and Lancastians . The hub was able to take greater weights and I believe a better braking capacity .

Your wheel is a Dunlop AH9596 or AH40035 and appears to have been manufactured in Jan 1955 which rules out most Lancasters and early Lincolns at the very least.
I suspect AH9596 is the wheel number and AH40035 the part number of the detachable rim but it may be the other way around. Without a wheel CMM I cannot tell.

French Lancs were in service until the late 60s.

Lancaster I and II used AH2238 wheels

Lancaster X used same wheel and different tyres and brakes

Lincoln I and II (originally known as Lanc IV and V) used AH8268 on early ones and AH8405 on increased gross weight ones

The Australian Lincoln manual RAAF 802 does not identify the wheels used.

Hello Jindivik and MiTasol , the numbers listed for Lincoln " 1 " and " 2 " as above -- A.H.8268 for up to 75,000lbs all up weight and A.H.8405 for weights above 75,000lbs , as listed for Australian Lincoln Mk30 variant . Hope this helps .
