Can anyone help to identify this prop? It was the original prop for the San Diego State University's Wind Tunnel. The tunnel was built by Aerolab in the early sixties and utilized a 4 blade variable pitch prop that may have been cut down? I have been told the prop was from a WWII aircraft
Hard to tell what it is from that image. It could be a P3 propeller, just guessing. We would need to see the hub that the blade mounted in to confirm the possible model.

This is not a 54H60-77 or a 54H60-101, those are P-3 and older C-130 Hamilton Standard props. Those props have a two part hub(front and rear) that are bolted together when the blades are sitting in the rear hub as it sit on the stand. The hub looks like that of an E-2, C-2 prop(Navy) The deicing rings are interesting, there are only two on each blade this one seems to have 4.
