Working 1/7 scale cowl-flaps...

I'm half way through making the scale drawings for a RC 1/7 F4U-1D Corsair.
I am thinking about making working cowl-flaps and was curious if anyone has ever done or seen this before at this scale?

Very cool idea. I don't think I've seen it done before, I reckon it would be quite tricky, but could well be worth it for realism. When on the ground the real Corsair always has its cowling flaps opened. After the initial take off they get closed automatically to avoid overcooing the engine and reduce drag.
