In Papua New Guinea (PNG) during WW2, the USAAF suffered its worst single-day loss in the Pacific Theatre when dozens of aircraft and crew failed to return to base due to sudden very bad weather, many still not recovered to this day. One aircraft, a Douglas A-20 Havoc, was found decades later, restored and now stands proud in a PNG museum. Come see how this came about. Hope you enjoy. Cheers.

The a/c in the reconstruction is a "Mosquito", not an A-20. There was an old game "Flight Simulator" where one could choose routes and planes from a library. I reconstructed myself some "bombing raids" in a B-25 out of Corsica and back. Now they don't even try to find the real a/c...is my feeling.

I said in the video right up front that the Havoc is not available in MSFS so we will take a sort-of-similar Mosquito!!!

Fly Away Sims has an A-20 model package for FSX, which would be compatable with MSFS20/24 simply by making adjustments in the "aircraft.cfg" file.

Doing research on your sim platform is just as important as doing research on the subject matter.

Being an a**hole to people who point out the obvious isn't going to win you points, either.
