ww2 landing gear?

hi i'm new to the forum..i'm looking to identify some ww2 landing gear parts..if anyone can help

My first reaction was Douglas DC3/C-47 series aircraft but the inspection stamps are not Douglas or any vendor I recognize.
I would still say DC3/C-47 series aircraft with 90% probability because the top end of the strut screams DC3.
I will try to find and scan a manual page tomorrow
 
Hi thankyou for getting back to me..i think you are right about the dc3 as these look exactly the same
 
Looks like C-47 lower shock strut...P/N 5100589(x) or 5142825, depending on which IPB you look at.
