I found some good photos of the XP-51F in the book American Experimental Fighters of WWII: The Pursuit of Excellence, and one of a XP-51G prior to it being shipped to England. I know that the XP-51F Boscombe Downe images were attributed to the late Phil Butler, who passed away about a year in a half ago. However, his archive has been preserved from what I've been told.
Anyone know how or where to potentially source some of these photos? I've tried some internet searches for getting in contact with such archives, but have come up dry.
