1/48 Airfix Spitfire Mk XII

I started this a month ago. It seems to be a decent kit. Here is where I am with it. I will be using the kit decals for DL*K.

Good work. I built mine 9 years ago and liked the kit. It was one of the first of the new-tooled Airfix line at the time and only suffered from, in my opinion, overly deep panel lines and rivets.

Thanks, it is an excellent fitting kit so far, no major issues. I added the horizontal stabilizers, lumps n bumps on the cowl top, flaps and scoop, radiator and various parts on the bottom. Just about ready to start painting. I need to order paint,medium sea grey, for the bottom camouflage soon.

I just put the final piece on the bottom, now I need to order paint. It'll be a few days so I may start my newly arrived 1/144 Minicraft CC-130J Canadian Hercules. Something to keep my mind from going idle here in retirement.

Thanks, I like your bike, use to ride my Giant Kronos with my older brother and his titanium framed Litespeed! At 70 I still ride!
