I the put the Pan Am decals on yesterday with one small problem. I had finished and sealed the right-side decals (first picture) and started the left side ones when I realized that the Pan Am winged insignia that should have been printed right and left-handed were all printed left-handed. Nothing I could do at this point short of trying to rip off all the sealed decals and go with the TWA scheme which I wasn't going to do, so I went ahead and put them on (second picture). The third and fourth pictures show the actual aircraft and how it should be. Not really too bad unless you know how it should be, but I guess it will go on the display shelf with the left side facing out.

The kits engine cowl/engines are from the old Frog B-17E kit and very primitive, so years ago I bought some Quick Boost resin engines and will use them with the optional cowl flap cowls from the Academy B-17C kit.

First picture is the engines painted and glued to the nacelles. The second one is the cowls and landing gear legs painted up (never mind the bomb bay doors, they're for the B-17C) and the third pic is the Academy cowls installed.
