Shown here is a captured Italian 75/18 SU M40 self-propelled gun. The 75 mm (2.95 in) howitzer could traverse 25 deg either side of the centre line, and was mounted in a simple boxlike structure. Note the spare tracks and sandbags in use as extra frontal and side protection.
