Shown here is ASR Launch No.137 at full speed in the summer of 1943. She was a Type 2 high-speed launch built by the British Power Boat Co. at Hythe, Hampshire. She entered service in November 1941 and was nased in northern Scotland and the Orkneys before coming south and being transferred to the Mediterraneab area. She was 19.2 m (63 ft) long and capable of 36kts.
