Shown here is a Lancaster B.Mk.I/III of No.1 Lancaster Finishing School equipped with the Rose-Rice rear turret mounting two 12.7 mm (0.5 in) Browning guns. The first turrets of this type were fitted to the Lancs of No.150 Sqd on 1st November, 1944, but they were relatively uncommon.
