Battleship Row

Shown here is Pearl Harbor as seen from a Japanese high-level bomber after the torpedo-bombers had opened the attack on 'battleship row'. Note oil gushes from hits on the USS Oklahoma and USS West Virginia and the shock waves from bomb bursts , one hitting the USS Arizona on the right. Taken from The Longest Battle: The War at Sea 1939-1945.
