Shown here a day after the Schweinfurt Raid are three B-17F-DL Flying Fortresses on the 401st BS dispersal at Bassingbourn. In the foreground is (42-3073) 'Lightning Strikes' and at right is (42-4729). Under the nose of 073 is a B-17G.
