Shown here is a B-17G-BO Flying Fortress 'Chow Hound' operating out off England in 1944. The camouflage is Olive drab and Grey. The triangle-A on the fin identifies the 91st BG and the red fin, rudder and horizontal stabiliser the 1st CW. The British-style letters LG on the fuselage side identify the 322nd BS and the letter R on the fuselage and fin identifys the individual aircraft within the group.
