Shown here is a C-75 (ex-TWA SA-307B Stratoliner) long-range VIP transport coming into land. A total of five of these aircraft were impressed by the USAAF in 1942. They were operated by TWA under contract to the USAAF's ATC (Air Transport Command), as VIP transports for the highest ranking civilian and military personnel.
