Shown here is Flying Fortress Mk.I, WP-B, (AN528) of No.90 Sqd, based at Polebrook. The Fortress Mk.I was used on daylight bombing sorties from Polebrook between 30th August, 1941 and 10th February, 1942 when the squadron was disbanded. A total of twenty aircraft of this type being delivered to the RAF.
