Bristol Blenheim Mk.IV

Shown here is a Blenheaim Mk.IV of No.107 Sqd flying over a burning British or French ship which was destroyed by German attacks off Bordeaux in May 1940. Of interest is the 7.7 mm (0.303 in) Vickers 'K' gas-operated MG seen protruding from the tail, just aft of the tailwheel - a 'lash-up' exclusive to No.107 Sqd aircraft.
