This image depicts a Caproni Ca.100 Idro, a floatplane version of the Ca.100 Caproncino. Thirty of these floatplanes were built (c.1930 ?). In 1931 a Ca.100 Idro flown by Antonini and Trevisan established a seaplane altitude record of 16,462 ft (6,018 metres).
