After the unsucessful raid on Dieppe Canadian POWs were Marched through the town figuratively with there pants around their ankles as humiliation, to add insult to injury the the British press went pretty harsh on them, calling them a bunch of dumb tall farm boys who will fit in quite well in France. Not funny. in fact the operationwas a failure for the Canadians due to many reasons but mostly the Brits didnt know what they were doing, but on June6 1944 Canada would have its revenge on the Germans at Juno Beach.
