Curtiss SOC Seagull

Shown here is a SOC Seagull observation seaplane being hoisted aboard the heavy cruiser USS Tuscaloosa (CA-37) after a patrol. The photo was taken in September 1941, while the cruiser was part of a convoy on its way to Iceland.
