Dismounted Railway gun

Shown here is a French 340 mm (13.39 in) Schneider Mle 1912 railway gun dismounted from its carriage onto a turntable and extensively camouflaged. In 1918, when this pic was taken, French quartermasters had the difficult task of supplying ammunition for the four variants of the barrel then in service.
