Shown here is TBD-1 Devastator (BuAer.0320) of VT-3, at North Island NAS, San Diego, California, 22nd August, 1940. The aircraft is painted in McClelland Barclay No.7 Experimental Camouflage. This aircracft was lost at the Battle of the Coral Sea in May 1942, while serving with VT-2 aborad the USS Lexington (CV-2).
