Grumman F4F-3P Wildcat

Shown here is a F4F-3P Wildcat phot-recon aircraft of VMO-251 being refuelled on Espritu Santo Island, New Hebrides, in late 1942. Though used for reconnaissance at Quadalcanal, none of the photo Wildcats saw combat.
