Grumman F4F-4 Wildcat

Shown here is a F4F-4 Wildcat of VGS-1 being spotted by crewmen on the hanger deck of the USS Long Island (CVE-1, ex merc Mormacmail), 17th June, 1942. Also present are several other F4F-4 Wildcats, as are SOC-3A Seagull observation aircraft.
