Shown here is a Hs 129B-1/R2 of 8./SchG 2 being towed along a Libyan road near Tripoli in December 1942. This was the fifth staffel to get the Hs 129B, and was formed from former JG 27 and JG 53 staff. Following a move to the Eastern Front, the unit was redesignated 13.(Pz)/SchG 9 in October 1943.
