Shown here is the 'Ruler (ex-USN Bogue)' class fighter escort carrier HMS Searcher (ex-USS Breton, ex-merc.Mormacgulf) during Operation 'Tungsten', an attack by Barracudas on the German battleship KMS Tirpitz mounted simultaneously with the running of Covoy JW58 to Murmansk.
