20th. June, 1944. During a raid on oil refineries at Stettin in Poland, B-24J Liberators of the 856th Bomb Squadron are attacked by Me-410 Hornets. All but two of the Liberators were shot down, the two surviving aircraft flew on to Sweden, one with just the pilot , the other "Sknappy" with it's full crew.
