Shown here is the heavy cruiser KMS Blucher ablaze and sinking in Oslofjord. Hit at point-blank range by 20cm & 28cm shells from the guns of the defending forts and set ablaze; torpedoes from the shore did the rest, reducing her to a helpless hulk. She finally capsized and sank at 0630 hours with the loss of over 1,000 officers and men.
