Kyushu Ki-86a

Shown here is a Ki-86a Army Type 4 primary trainer. This aircraft along with the Navy's K9W1 Momiji (Cypress) were licenced-built versions of the Luftwaffe's Bu 131 Jungmann aircraft. A total of 1,037 Ki-86s were built between 1942-45.
