I am fond of WWII aircraft. More so than the jets, but I'm sorry, The Skunk Works did the job rite when they designed and built the Black Bird. She looks like a military aircraft ought to look. "INTIMIDATING". I have heard pilots talk about her and the mach 3.2 claimed top speed is b*%%#@!t. I am sure she can surpass that number by quite a bit more. Just an opinion.
