Shown here is a formation of Bf 110F-1 fighter-bombers in flight. These aircraft were fitted with armoured glass and extra plate around the crew. The two ETC 500 bomb-racks fitted beneath the fuselage could carry a pair of 250 kg (551 lb) SC 250 bombs.
