I know this picture from a book I've seen advertized on the net on the Re.2006; should be a good book; also in english and italian; and sheds a light on a hardly known story.
Anyway, the book has a colourized version of this picture. Which I find strange, because I assume that this is not a real photograph but an animated picture. Or seriously photoshopped which renders out any realism...
