Shown here is one of the six Seafire Mk.IBs belonging to No.842 Sqd making a near-perfect landing back onboard HMS Fencer, August 1943, before Operation 'Alacrity'. This particular aircraft was being piloted by Sub-Lieutenant(A) Ken Morley, RNVR (Royal Navy Volunteer Reserve) when the pic was taken. Taken from Allied Escort Carriers of World War Two in Action.
