Shown here is Wellington Mk.III, VR-Q, (Z1572) of No.419 Sqd, RCAF based at Mildenhall flying ENE some 4.8 km ( 3 miles) east of Thetford on 27th May, 1942. Z1572 first served with Nos.115 and 75 (NZ) Sqds. She then went to No.427 Sqd, RCAF, before being pensioned off for training duties with No.16 OTU. She was finally SOC on 30th April, 1945.
