Shown here is a Lysander Mk.III (SD) on a crude grass strip with Italian partisans near Cortemilia, 14th April, 1945. The Lysander Mk.III (SD) was used to carry Allied agents into occupied territory, and was equipped with a ladder on the port side as well as a 682 l (150 Imp gal) long-range tank.
