The hydraulics point of view is interesting as I believe the Fw-190 had electric gear and flaps.

I always thought the Mazda Rotary was thinking out of the box, but the Deltic hurts me to look at it… 😉

Gents, Again thank you. Tomo, What I should have included in the build up to the question was would it no have been simpler to have a motor powered gun (not Gatling) to better the dependability over gas and recoil power? Cheers, Biff

Great video, very thorough explanation of the system!

Of note is the canopy, two helmets, and air refueling slipway markings painted on the underside of the lead aircraft. First hand experience with those type of markings is they work well and cause you to delay or not initiate a maneuver due to what appears to be an imminent collision.

Tiger, Out of curiosity, who or how did you get checked out in the P38? Today I think guys get some B25 time first but not completely sure. Cheers, Biff
