    z42, I didn’t realize the B-29 was so electric biased. I actually fly the 787 and will agree to its heavy electrical engineering to include its brakes (and its very reliable). Cheers, Biff

    The hydraulics point of view is interesting as I believe the Fw-190 had electric gear and flaps.

    Gents, Again thank you. Tomo, What I should have included in the build up to the question was would it no have been simpler to have a motor powered gun (not Gatling) to better the dependability over gas and recoil power? Cheers, Biff

    Of note is the canopy, two helmets, and air refueling slipway markings painted on the underside of the lead aircraft. First hand experience with those type of markings is they work well and cause you to delay or not initiate a maneuver due to what appears to be an imminent collision.
