Does anyone have any details of a P40E with "Pacific Fury" on the chin cowl? I believe it may have been operated by the 68th Pursuit Group which handed its P40 aircraft over to the New Zealand Air Force at Tonga. Thanks for any help.
We have one of the replica Hurricanes that was used in the original Battle of Britain film.
We are currently updating the paint scheme ( 43 sqn) and want to apply the servicing detail markings.
Can anyone help with the detail of the markings? Wording, size and location?

The unusual looking gunsight in the P40N is a standard Air ministry gunsight (same as spitfire). A lot of RAAF aircraft appear to have had them installed. I have one of the mounts - it just bolts on in place of the standard late Curtiss gunsight yoke 87-69-952. I am not sure why...
I think we have just about every book published on the Lysander - some have extracts from the maintenance manuals, but really not enough to work with. There are a few aftermarket drawings on Ebay, but no originals.
If we cant find anything from private collectors then we will go to the RAF...
We are in the process of building a full scale Lysander for museum display. Can anyone help with a source for maintenance manuals or drawings. We already have pilots notes and most books, but are really short on detailed technical information. Thanks.:)
