I managed to use single numbers from other Raiders. Was able to get the tail numbers. So many disintegrated, I am just worried about the wing decals. Think I will try the Micro Scale Liquid Decal Film.with a decal that I will not be using on scrap plastic and see if that works. Anyone use it?

That is the one I am doing. Finally got the tail numbers 02261 done on one side. had to scavenge other tail numbers one at a time. I have two sets of decals. Bought the kit off ebay. first one arrived i/4 put together. seller sent me another kit. just worried about the U S Army large wing decals...

Great history of the different scales. So are these new models like the b-25 b-17 in 1:32 updated old toolings? I still can't understand why not make them 1:35 if they are new. Especially since most vehicles are 1:35.

I am liking these newer 1/32 aircraft models...but, why did they go to 1/32 instead of 1/35? Could have made some nice dios with 1/35 vehicles.

I think I won't take the chance. I'll drive the hour to the hobby shop and get the colors I need in Vallejo Air. Thanks for the comments.

I probably know the answer, but..I sprayed matted future on a model. Can I put some enamel over that?

What kind of thinning ratio do you recommend for the model color?

OK, found that FS36173 is the color for the bottom grey. Vallejo Model Color would be 992. Can't find what would be comparable in Model Air.
