    Spitfire Mk.II instrument panel

No typo., I'm afraid. :-) It's a 1:7 scale balsa Spitfire Mk.II (the whole plane) and I need to do the instrument panel.

    Spitfire Mk.II instrument panel

Hi. I'm about to begin the work on the instrument panel on my model Spitfire Mk.II (scale 1:7) and I would be really happy if anyone out there could provide me with a good (color) picture of the panel. I have been "googling" it but I get so many different results that it's not even funny. Cheers

    Spitfire Trim

I did that... deleting the attach tag, but the picture still stayed there... That's just the Spitfire for you I guess.. You just can't shake it off :-)

    Spitfire Trim

That would be absolutely great, thank you so much. This is what I've got. As you can see it gives an idea of what it looks like. But I need more details. Also, I just realised that the rudder trim looks as if it's different from the elevator. (could be the drawing though) Regards

    Spitfire Trim

Hello Greg. Thank you for your answer. What do you mean that all the Spitfires departed for home? Are you seriously telling me that you let them go, just like that? :-) I will keep digging then, but if you could I'd be glad if you'd keep me in mind come May. Cheers Finn

    Spitfire Trim

I'm building a Spitfire Mk.II balsa scale 1:7 and I have run into a problem and is really in need of some help. Having build the horizontal stabilisor and the elevator I need to find out how the connection rod that operates the trim was fastened. All I have is an old lubrication chart and...

    Spitfire Mk.I Flight Controls

I have read your post a couple of times already and I can see the problems you are highlighting. I am lucky in one respect, though, that the kit I have purchased has only the most basic shape, so to speak, meaning that the canopy is plastic, and as such should be manageable to alterations. Is it...

    Spitfire Mk.I Flight Controls

Thanks for your reply. I'm aware of the differences and I realize that I have a lot of work ahead of me ;-) I'm not sure what the difference is in the fuselage structure except the rudder was bigger on the Mk.IX and the wings shouldn't be taht much of a problem. See, the blisters for the...

    *NEW* Post Your Mugshot!!!!

Alright, you asked for it... Here I am... I did look a lot "prettier" after the Margarita had been "downed"

    Spitfire Mk.I Flight Controls

I've bought a spitfire Mk.IXc (balsa wood) r/c. 1:7 scale. After some thoughts, I've decided to make it into a Mk.Ia and make it a display model rather than fly with it. In this scale there should be plenty of room to nurse all the fancy details. I'm looking for drawings showing the Flight...
