The DB 605 engine was never considered for the Fw 190. From the Fw 190 A-0 pre-production, the only engine considered for the high altitude was the DB 603.

Hello ! Here you are one of my latest vintage build, the Grumman F6F-3 by Lindberg in 1/48 scale. This plane belonged to USS Belleau Wood aircraft carrier. This aircraft carrier became "Bois Belleau" in the post war French Navy.
