Here you are one of my latest vintage build, the Grumman F6F-3 by Lindberg in 1/48 scale. This plane belonged to USS Belleau Wood aircraft carrier. This aircraft carrier became "Bois Belleau" in the post war French Navy.

I built the same model way back when. Mine came out looking like a vaguely airplane shaped blob of plastic.

I agree with SaparotRob that is one gorgeous model. I'm currently building the Hasegawa F6F-5 in 1/32 OOTB which as you probably know is an early 1970s production. Hope mine turns out even half as nice as yours did.

Looks great! The original Lindberg box art was not as good as other kits and I think it came with a do-it-yourself electric motor back in the day.
