    1/48 Tamiya A1J Skyraider (USAF)

    USAF version, the Sandy one. Brushpainted with Humbrol 116 dark green with touch of RLM 70, Humbrol 118 for Tan with mixture of Vallejo USAF Tan and RLM 82 for US Medium green. Yes I found out RLM 82 is a good substitute for US Medium Green Just need a bit of putty.

    Of the USN single-engined bomber aircraft that were NOT the Douglas AD/A-1, which do you think might have been the next best choice for the role? I'm including the Martin AM Mauler and Grumman AF Guardian in this, though they DID see service, the others, not so much...

    Korean War Skyraider?

    Always wanted a Korean War Skyraider, but it seems impossible to find any backdating 1/48 sets for the Tamiya kit, which made me think about Trumpeter's 1/32 AD-4 variant, is it a good kit, been watching the videos, but I don't recall anyone mentioned if it had or didn't have the armour moulded...
