1/48 Airfix Blackburn Buccaneer S.2C ( New Tooled )

Today on the Blackburn Buccaneer channel. Now that I have the Eduard canopy mask coming time to get this finished . Spent hour working on the coaming . First I sprayed primer them Tamiya LP Flat black , then went back and sprayed mottled Tamiya LP NATO black for weather look . Drybrushed model master neutral gray to pop the detail out

Finally back to Buccaneer . Windshield masked with Eduard mask set. The slidding window is not a flus fit so i mask the whole cockpit inside and outside with Tamiya tamiya used micro mask liquid mask to tac it on the airframe . Once dry i will remove it and mask the canopey and paint it .Windshiled sprayed with Tamiya LP-4 Black . Model primed with MrFinishing Surfacer 1500 greay. I need to posih the primer then i can start spraying the Ak colors Extra Sae Grey .

Finally started spraying the AK real color Extra Dark Sea Grey .First coat was prayed thin and built up with a few spays back and forth . I have some areas that need more cover on the bottom then time to start spraying topside . Stay tuned for more from B-Smac .

Final paint job on the bottom done. Started spraying the topside starting wth the tail . Got the wing tip sensors and pitot painted. Ran out of AK extra dark sea grey . I placed a order and will have it moddle to end of next week . I will work on various other parts will piant is shipped . The AK paints really spray nice just needs to be thinned a little more then usual and sprayed in thin coats .

Paint order came into today so i was finally able to get the rest of the Buccaneer finihed pianted . Next to mask and spray the BLC warning stripes . really like the looks of the Ak real colors .
