Now that i got my two shelf off doom porjects done back to the Reon lightning . Mixed the Tamiya PRU blue and sprayed it on the gear doors . I'M pretty happy with the results Next get the cockpit parts finished up !
More progress on the Recon Lightning tonght . Tamiya neutral grey sprayed on the wheel hubs , struts and inside gear doors . I used the awesome shadow hobby thinnerliner circle cuttle to make wheel hub mask, then spray tamiya rubber black . Got the gunsight painted and windsheild install . Hopefully in a week I'll start sparying the Tamiya PRU blue .
Got the windshield and thw wheel wells masked off . I used the edaurd canopy mask and the Omask for the wheels wells . Sprayed the interior green on the windshield . This wheekend ill start spraying PRU blue .
Today i fnally started painting the Lightning . Ill let it dry for a few das and see if i need to spray another coat. If not then i'll start spraying the topside .
Got the final top coat of PRU blue sprayed. Also sprayed the Prop hubs, air scoops and props tonight . Next to mask and papinted the red filler caps .Then i can start spraying clear gloss .
Really nice Brian. Love my circle cutter. Use it for sprayed out roundels, round windows and the circular areas of windscreens. Haven't used it for wheels yet
Tonight i finally started spraying clear gloss . Once dry ill see if its needs another coat on the bottom before spraying topside. I have one tiny area to souch up with the PRU blue .
