Thank you so much! I'm a writer and designer of kids' books, and in my free time I'm working on something WWII-related, and that's what got me looking into my grandfather's service. I've always been the one in the family who's interested, but had no clue that the internet could be such a resource. I just figured that when he died when I was a baby (in 1978), that I'd lost any chance of knowing about him.

Anything that you find, or that your contacts find, is much appreciated. I'm a whiz at research, and in just 24 hours have learned more about my grandpa than his own children know, so I'll be sure to post all that I find right here!

Hello i'm a new member. Your post got my attenion. I'm doing some research on the 325th FG, 318th FS,as we type. Do you have an album available to view with the pics you have collected? Maybe we could share a few.

Hello

I am working on a research related to Ploesti and Romania
missions. I have various of photos from various pilots of the
325th given by few vets and I could swap them with similar
material related to the pilots shot down on missions to
Rumania.

I have a question is Bill Whisler of 318 identical to L.M.Whisler
