The Lancaster is LL804, BH-F, "Lady in the Champagne Glass", commanded by Wing Commander Teofil Pożyczka,
the CO of the squadron.

The markings there present the individual operational tours completed by W/Cdr Teofil Pożyczka on the aircraft. The thirty bombs is the first tour. The secound tour ( the champagne tour ) is marked with the 20 glasses. The third "deadly tour" is marked with the 12 skulls. The known pic of the lanc with all the markings was taken at the end of February 1945. There are other shots of her taken in August 1944 with the first tour completed and the second one started ( four glasses only ).
