A 1/24th Rally Car model!

Don't think there's a section for cars on this great website, so instead of posting anywhere I think this section is ok.....I hope ?

Heller Peugeot 205 T16 Rally Car, loads of detail added as Heller couldn't be bothered to finish off designing the kit.

Nice one Ian, and good to see you back here.
I have a few rally car kits in the stash which I must get around to building some time soon, mainly from the 1970's and early '80's, including my own Mk.1 and Mk.II Escorts.

Yeah glad I've remembered about the place again, having a new laptop doesn't help neither, all my fav's columns are gone I've made a few 1/24th Escort MKII kits, but never purchased the MKI kit as it's a little too expensive.

Yep, the "Belkits" Escort is a tad expensive, but I bit the bullet and bought it when first released.
I last built the Mk.II Escort in around 1978, when it was under the original ESCI label, since re-released by Revell and now Italeri.

Nice job! Profil24 does a lovely 205 T16 kit. I've built a few of their kits and they are really enjoyable builds.

I've made the originals too but the best was the crystal clear escort in the British Airways livery, loved making that.
