Did anyone post this yet? Supposedly a video about Zeros and US aircraft, but it's the first time I've seen US and Japanese markings on the same (open-cockpit!) fighter. Not to mention the apparently very bendy aircraft flying alongside...
And meanwhile, in an American hangar, pilots got together to plan their next mission in some weird fighter sitting behind them, with two aircraft apparently having collided in the air.

Am I the only one or do you have the feeling as well that the "bird" with the extreme dihedral is flapping its wings?

It's beyond my knowdlege about numbers!Yep! If you put a 1 before 97 zeroes it will be 10 unrigintillions.
But afaik, 97 x 0 = 0
That's the beauty of math: 97 zeroes are still zero, but just put a 1 in front of them and they become...eh you know what.
BTW the word unrigintillion is a real one, based on a number (96 in this case).
As a 5-th grader I was very proud to show my classmates that even beyond quadrillion (this was the biggest number we studied about), there are numbers with more zeroes. So the biggest I knew at that time was a Decillion. The other "illions" are just made based on the same rule.

As balsa modeller, the dihedral could be for a free flight model although somewhat excessive. The plane in the foreground seems too small for the pilot and the engine, while about right for the airframe, would fit in a pickup bed. As it is aircooled it has an enormous belly scoop.

I just did a search on Duckduckgo for instructions for adjusting my Ercoupe's Airpath compass. Here is what I got:
INSANITY! It's a compass on an instrument panel! There is no screen! There are no menus! It is not a damn computer but just a liquid filled compass on the panel of a 1946 airplane! The first models did not even have electricity! It had to be added as a modification to the post-war models!
OH YEAH! AI is going to take all our jobs! SURE!
Dogs would be more useful to have in the cockpit than AI would!

Well, there is one I have not heard of!
I flew this morning and found that the compass is now reading headings all around the dial rather than locked up on one spot, although still very inaccurate. E.g., runway heading that should have been 110 deg was reading more like 130 deg. Next step is to try the adjustments per the real Airpath instructions.

Swinging your compass involves at least two people. One in the cockpit with the engine running etc to simulate normal flight conditions. That person lines the aircraft up on each of the cardinal points and the other person stands in front of or behind the aircraft with a known accurate compass (and no iron on their body/clothing) and sights the actual heading. You then adjust using the real Airpath or other similar compass instructions and repeat as necessary.
There may be a spewtube video of it.
