This one is interesting too. What is a turbine turbinet? For that matter, what is a wing wing, or a "Detial" cockpit? The supercharger intake at the bottom of the pilot's set has possibilities. The P-47M has an internal turboscar system. Both aircraft have dive brakes.

There actually was consideration to convert the P-47 to jet power, first with a J31 engine, then a J35 (which would make for a great scratch build).

They opted for a clean sheet design instead (F-84), so...the turbine in the tail sorta, kinda *might* be remotely legit - but only if there's a red arrow pointing at it.

BTW started wondering what exactly is the "internal turboscar system" but gave up for tonight.
