Just for interest what are you using?

I am using Vivaldi browser and Mojeek search. The former took a little getting used to but has so many advantages, like being totally uncontaminated by AI, stripping out almost all tracking and advertising, but Mojeek is variable. Sometimes magic and other times cannot find English web pages that Dogpile, DDG and Startpage find easily. Mojeek is based in the UK so you would expect it to excel there. I avoid gobble as much as I can because I object to being the product they sell.

At the moment I am on Brave search. It still has AI, but less intrusive than google. I'll check out Mojeek. As a browser I have been using Brave and still do, but I'm slowly going back to Firefox as the default, stripped from AI. I have used Vivaldi in the past, but it has too much functionality for me and what it has is not always robust, like the email client and the add-blocking. I like barebone browser. Brave is still a good browser, fast and very good at add-blocking. I dislike it closed-source though. So I am back on my old Firefox, stripped at all.

I totally agree with your sentiment about Google btw.

One of the reasons I like Vivaldi is that slider down the bottom right corner of the page that lets me instantly zoom and read the fine print that some pages make very small so that you can not read it.

I am also trying Ecosia as a search engine - so far so good.

One of the reasons I like Vivaldi is that slider down the bottom right corner of the page that lets me instantly zoom and read the fine print that some pages make very small so that you can not read it.

Most browsers have that. I usually use ctrl combined with the minus or plus keys to do that (I'm a real keyboard user, I use vim-keybindings everywhere). But Vivaldi is a fine browser, so if you're happy with it, that's great.
